To reinforce American Express as a champion of women and contribute to vital conversations about women in leadership, Notch Video and North Strategic developed the “Breaking Barriers” campaign alongside The Globe and Mail’s Globe Content Studio. The socially minded series, which featured stand-alone written and video profiles, showcased five Canadian women who each achieved success in their male-dominated industries. Notch hired a film crew and finished the shoot over a quick six-day period. The campaign surpassed all expectations, performing well on social media, garnering more than four times the average page views for the Globe articles, and hitting an average completion rate of 82 per cent for the videos.
